Important Update – Spring Season
Unfortunately, Russell Minor Football will not be able to field a team for the upcoming spring season due to low registration numbers. At this time, only 12 players registered, and a minimum of 24 players is required to run a team safely.
This was a very difficult decision, and we are truly saddened by the outcome. We want to sincerely thank all families and coaches for the continued support of our program.
Please check your email for a detailed message regarding this decision and information about refunds. Once all required notifications are completed, refunds will be issued as soon as possible. We are hopeful that all refunds will be processed by Monday, May 4.

Divisions for 2026
U14- birth years 2013, 2012 (grade 7, 8)Details on other divsions being worked out
Russell Renegades is a developmental full-contact football program founded in 2008
Season will run from April 27th to June 20th, 2026
Practice and Game nights will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Practices will be held for the first few weeks from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm at Keith M. Boyd Park- 591 Louks Promenade.
When the outdoor field is ready (June 1) practices will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School, 1211 South Russell Road. We generally practice from 6:30pm - 8:00pm, twice a week outdoors. More information on exact start date will be communicated at a later date due to field conditions.
